Jeff Jarrett is shown on the big screen in Las Vegas rambling on.
Razor Ramon vs. Chris Hamrick
Razor gets interviewed on his way to the ring and addresses Jarrett. He is working a snail's pace here today. He sets up Hamrick on the top and hits a back superplex. He follows it up with the Razor's Edge and that is all.

It's time for Charlie Minn and Live Event News. We get another look at the WWF Superstars in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. "This float was moving so fast that folks were asking us if Bob "Spark Plug" Holly was driving it." I assure you that no one asked that.
It's time to announce the Tag Team Championship tournament. The championship match will be at Royal Rumble. It will be Bam Bam Bigelow and Tatanka vs. Men On A Mission, Headshrinkers vs. Jim Neidhart and Owen Hart, Heavenly Bodies vs. Bushwhackers and Smoking Gunns vs. Well Dunn.
Smoking Gunns vs. Ray Hudson & Black Phantom
We actually get some 50/50 action with Black Phantom in there, as he hits a DDT on Billy. He tags in Hudson and Billy has had enough and just decides to pick him up and throw him. They hit the spinning side suplex into a leg drop. They then hit a top rope elbow onto Hudson while on the back of Bart for the victory. I continue to find the Gunns to be an underrated tag team.

They show Diesel's interview from Raw.
Owen Hart vs. Chris Kanyon
This would have been a heck of a match in like 2 years. Owen hits a short arm clothesline and then works on the arm and wrist of Kanyon. Kanyon is able to hit a hip toss, but misses the elbow drop. Kanyon tries to battle back again, but misses with a moonsault. Owen immediately climbs the ropes and hits a missile dropkick. He slaps on the Sharpshooter and that's all. There was no Jim Neidhart by his side for this one.

We get a new Hakushi vignette and this time it shows a silhouette.
Aldo Montoya vs. Ben Jordan
This is quite the uninspired squash match to start off. Jordan hits a reverse elbow and is pretty proud of himself. He ducks his head too early and Montoya rolls into a small package for a 2 count. He hits a dropkick and now he's pretty proud of himself. He hits a reverse leap bulldog off the second rope for the victory.

We get a new vignette with Henry Godwinn talking about his slop bucket. Honestly, he brings up some good points.
Tatanka vs. Mike Khoury
Tatanka misses a charge in the corner and Khoury rolls him up for 2. Khoury ducks a clothesline and hits a dropkick. Khoury ducks too soon and Tatanka yanks him by the hair and throws him to the mat. Khoury ducks a chop and hits a crossbody for a 1 count this time. Tatanka goes back to some chops to the back. He hits End Of Trail and that's all.

They do a spoof commercial for "Left Guard" with the Headshrinkers and Alfred Hayes narrating. It ends with Fatu eating it and then the rest of the crew eating it.
They show Doink last year on Wrestling Challenge getting Dink for Christmas.
Doink vs. Curtis Harrison
We're pretty close to jobber Doink here at this point. One thing we can't gloss over is that he's as good as any scientific wrestler there ever was. Harrison actually does a great job on a bump after running into a Doink boot. Doink hits a body slam and then heads up top for the Whoopee Cushion and the victory.

It's back to the American Sportscaster Association Dinner. I'm sure Diesel wearing a suit with no sleeves did a lot to bolster their reputation. Minn is at his worst here.
Next week we'll get Bam Bam and Tatanka against Men On A Mission, the debut of Henry Godwinn, Adam Bomb, IRS and British Bulldog. Plus, we'll get the Heartbreak Hotel featuring Jeff Jarrett.
With no feature match, this was another run of the mill episode of Superstars. We had some good squash match wrestlers, but after the Owen match, it fell off a cliff.
